UK Firewalk is committed to leading the industry in minimising the impact of its activities on the environment.

The key points of its strategy to achieve this are:

Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.

Minimise toxic emissions through the selection and use of its fleet and the source of its power requirement.

Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst its customers and suppliers.

Source and promote a product range to minimise the environmental impact of both production and distribution.

Meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to the Company.

We also have a commitment to plant a minimum of 120 trees a year. (Started 1/12/2021)

UK Firewalk’s wood supplier is certified by Woodsure, which is the UK’s only wood fuel quality assurance scheme. This certification gives our customers the peace of mind that our kiln fried logs and kindling are not only of the highest quality but have been sourced from ethical and sustainable UK woodlands.

The turf we use is supplied from Harrowden Turf (Details of their environment policy can be found by clicking their name)

The van we use is Euro 6 compliant ensuring minimum emission levels.

The UK Firewalk management team eat a plant-based diet.
